Wanted - Uniden UH-012

Want to put a radio in my truck that will work with PRS handhelds. The Uniden UH-012 looks good but I seem to be having trouble finding one. I guess anything similar in size and price would be alright. The UH-089 is ok too but a bit pricey. Anyone got something similar lying around they want to get rid of?

if you want to buy a new one keep an eye on phquip's auctions on Tm, he lists low reserves and has some reasonable buy nows

Ok cool thanks for that. Have been keeping a bit on an eye on trademe but people seem to go crazy on them and bid past the price of a brand new one!

if there are a few poeple that want them i can get a good price on a bulk deal on my trade account , think about $350 including aerial,mounts and the connectors , the whole kit ready to throw in the truck .

if anyone keen i will get a confirmed price as was a while ago i got mine ..

is the skinny wee one , i ripped out the ashtray in my old lux and it fitted sweet , think UH012..

Its a UHO12sx is the new model, at the moment Uniden have the UHO12sx+1 going which is the same thing but you get a Hand held with it:

Don't know about stock levels though, the people i deal with don't carry the stock but order them in. My buy on these would be $310.16 inc gst plus freight. I can enquire if anyone is interested. (there is no Antenna though) so the above one might be better?)

Cheers guys. I see dick smith have them advertised and "stock clearance". Am gonna go in tomorrow and see if they can send one down from another store. If not it might have to be a Uh-089 for $315 off TM.

I managed to get a brand new Uniden uh088sx of this guy last night for $155; a hell of a lot cheaper than the $369 i was quoted at a communications store in Dunedin. So definitely worth a look.
