I think they're about 19mm tread depth new so $800 would be on the highish side for 1/2 worn

depends who you buy them through and what price they'll give you but you should be under $400 a tyre for 32's

New prices have just gone up despite the rising dollar. Thats bound to flow through to second hand tyres, but then second hand tyres have normally lost there edge and offer less than ideal traction (without a tweak that is)

I'm just in the process of buying new tyres myself and I have been quoted $369 each for the 32's. Mudzillas aren't a bad buy either at $310 each for a 33x13.5x15. And Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's are only $280ea for a 33 & $290ea for a 35.

Food for thought aye.

I took a whole lot of prices handwriten on an old bit of paper into tonys tyres and after they had made a few phone calls they gave me $50 a tyre less than the lowest quotes I had. I felt a bit guilty bypassing the authourised dealers by I guess we all live in a competitive enviroment.

I was keen on buying through tonys to get their $20 a tyre offroad insurance, They said they'll cover anything except damage through excessive driving on a flat tyre. I've split quite a few cases on rocks over the past few years so the insurance was worth it for my circumstances

The more the aggressive the tyre the worse they are in sand. Unless they are nice and wide they will dig.
