Hi, I'm from Dunedin and would be happy to go on some trips, but your best bet would be join the Otago Recreational 4WD Group. I'm are member of this club and joining has been the best decision I have made. I get out 4wding that much more than i used to, and have learnt a lot as well. They are also a real good bunch of guys and girls too.

Here's the website - http://www.or4g.org.nz/

If your interested just let me know, and come along to the next meeting.

Cheers
Mike

Yeah, the club is really family oriented and there is heavy involvement from wives and girlfriends, plus a couple of women in the club have their own trucks and are central to the running of the club and trips. There are usually always children and young people on the trips too. It is a really good mix of people and a very friendly atmosphere.

2Add me to the list of keen Dunedin folk.q

Had a great day out a few months ago with a couple of bods off here (I think Mikey was one) and another Niva mate. I'm pretty sure they'll be keen for another jaunt.

So much better when there's competent peeps to tow you out. Love to do it again, even though I've still got the same crappy tyres. :)

Also I'm keen to do an overnighter on the Dunstan etc over summer.

PS - stan, change the name of this thread to 'trip buddies - Dunedin' you'll get more local peeps looking.
