Mines got rear leaf springs .. am going to try and find a engineering firm up here that can make me up a set of 65mm extended one's this week.
As I work with PVC pipe a lot in my job (Im a data/phone/fiber optic installer) making a custom snork isnt going to be too much of a problem, i plan to use 65mm PVC Marley type pipe and 45 deg bends.
Jerry thanks for the info, as for a diff lock .. dont know if i really need one as I have a sneeking feeling that the LSD in mine has been shimmed up tight to "lock" both axels together as i was looking at video footage my wife took of me in the mud and going up steep hills .. I was getting equal wheelspin on both rear wheels at all times ??! I also did the one wheel on seal and one wheel in dirt and boot it trick ... got wheelspin on both!
would love to know what has been done as I am impressed with it's 4wd ability ... I even managed to snatch my wifes bellied (and I meen really bellied) Escudo out of some really deep ruts yesterday funnly enough the camera were noticably absent during the snatch
as for tyres for now I have a set of legal road tyres on a nice set of zook mags I will use "on the road" ive got my hands on a stock car racers tyre grover so will turn the horrible commerical tread (which is luckly almost new and about 8 mm deep into something a bit more usefull out on the back of the farm
