Ok, I would like to know if this is safe with stok shoks (not exactory but same spec in terms of expansion).

I have a height control and if I bring to High position, the front bump stop has no more gap. So I was wandering if this makes little difference.

However, if ths cause damage to the shoks, I may need to source longer stroke one or may be ( worst case) need to be lower the front a bit ( 10~15mm).

Yep, I have, no probs. When you wind up the torsion bars there is very little up suspension travel so to combat this, take the two bumpstops off (per side) and take them down to 10mm or so, make sure you don't go below the lenght of the head of the bolt, Im sure they wouldn't make such good bump stops!

If you winding up, it raise the height on front.

When I change my shoks and rear coil, mechanic adjusted the front to balance to rear. Now the bamp stop touchs when it's in the high mode, in the normal mode it still has gaps.

ribbittuk,

I sow your pics. It looks nice.

Let me know how the lift is affecting handling. Is there any vibrations?
I've hard if I lift 2" from stock, it will have some vibration, especially if I put the suspension in High position.

Well, yours a LWB, so may be little bit different.

Enjoy your try out in weekend. :)

HI, sorry about the delay in reply, I've been away for easter (4wding!). Im sure it's legal, well I don't see any problems. The bump stop is still there, just a little shorter :D . I only trimmed the top ones, (there are two on each side) and i wouldn't recommend the rear ones, the bump stop prevents damage to the shockie.

I just used a hacksaw for mine. I guess you will have done it over easter.

Adam, winding up the torsion bars does give more ground clearance at the front, but it comes at a price, the trade off is less front wheel 'up' travel. To combat this a little is to trim the bump stop and either have a sway bar disconnect or take it off.

cheers,

Thanks Again,

I've been through Porika yesterday. :)
Well, the bump stop is still tall, but I do the job in soon in some weekend.

I guess, I need to take off those 4 pieces from upper arm.

Did you take shock off to undone the rear bolt? I may need some shorter socket or otherwise hacksawing on while it was in place....
