Couple of suggestions

I found out from another site that you'd like to nudge the site back towards more tech well heres a couple of ideas since I can't sleep

With the build threads can you set them up as a stand alone so the builders (ones who start the thread) can moderate them, maybee even setup a dual thread for feedback so just the build is in the main one and all the discusion and feedback is in another... its cool to get feedback but its a bit of a bugger having to wade through a thread to find a bit of cool info and takes away from the cool effort made by the builders

If you really wanted to push the tech theme then I'd say list hte top builds on the home page, possibly sort a rating system say 5 or so experianced members who can rate the builds, maybee 1-5 star or what ever based on tech... speed originality what ever and list em in that order

Oh and to stop repeats of common crap, take a leaf out of outerlimits or pirate put the FAQ at the top of each section, put the hilux stuff in the toyota section etc and on sticky in bold highlighted print

And I spose since I was gona suggest a few updates for the FAQ then remembered I'm one of the tech mod/auther thingys I spose I could do an update or two
Anybody got any sugestions on common Q's that need answers?

A number of people have suggested the first one. I'm going to do via blogging. so the main build threads will be in the actual site as opposed to the forum so then you can have your build with lots of photos/post and video on the submit form and then just throw in a link to the forum topic for it where all the replies and comments go. You can have comments on the site entries as well but its actually not that easy moderating that stuff so best not to have any on actual build ones.
