terrano gearbox
I can speak from experience. Ive done mine twice.
First time it was done by a shop in Auckland (cant remeber who my mechanic mate organised it) $1100? It was never right, and spat the dummy again about 18mths later.
Had it doen by a semi retired gearbox guru. He asked me why there were factory bearings in it if it had been done.
He rebuilt it with roller needle bearings rather than standard ball bearings. Has been a better box then it ever was. $650
The factory manuels are weak so rebuild it with quality parts and never look back.
They are the same box in the Terrano/navara 2.7s including the turbo models.
