BUDGET FJ40 SHACKLES

made some tough as shackles today for the cruiser, the old origanal ones were pretty naffed and was starting to get nervous about them breaking on the trail so....

just a bit beefier :twisted: and only an inch longer :wink:

put them on tonight and it raised the truck about 13mm so no big drama there.....

no such thing as over engineering wop.. good form.. hows the shackle angle with the extra inch on th shackles?

Did you weld the nut's to the shackle? it would be easier to remove the buggers if you only have to get the bar on one side to undo them. :wink:

Also as Nib said there is no such thing as too strong, you just haven reached those limits yet. :P
