Terrano CV Boot

Post by kiwipete »

Well today I discoverd that I have a split CV boot on me Terrano. Outer on the drivers side.

1) Who/where in Chch stocks these? It was only about 8 months ago it was replaced, but I cant remember where I got them from.

2) Is there anyone who cn give me a hand to replace it during the comming week sometime please? (Wednsday night is out) I remember about 50% of how to do it.

Any other advice greatly recieved thanks.
Ok people, move along. Nothing to see here. Thank you, move along.

Cheers Matt, pm'd u.

Allan, thanks for the offer, but looks like I have it sorted as far as a hand is concernd, but the boot i got is a sloppy fit, so tomorrow i will take it back with the CV in hand to show them. So much for quoting the chasis no and getting the right part. :?

Hate it when that happens. I had a similar problem when I did the radius arm bushes as there was 2 sizes available. Of course they sent out the wrong size the first time around
