yup, stick to the 285/75 R16.

I put some 315/75 R16 tyres on a mates VX and he took them off after a couple of months. They were too big and he found that it was chewing up the gas.

Another VX I know of runs 305/70 R16 BFG All Terrains and he has no complaints.

I run 33/12.5 R15 mud tyres on mine and it still goes like a rocket.

Congrats on the purchase. Almost every VX owner I know says they will never look back once owning a VX.

If you can keep them around the 33"/34" size then I think you will be doing allright.

but theres bound to be some on here that run bigger and have no probs with them.

hey ,
im gona order thoses tyres this week off 4wdbits , and il gona go with ,Goodyear Wrangler MT/R 315/75R16
as they are alot cheaper then the kumhos , The wranglers are Inflated diameter is approx 878mm (34.6 inches
.
Just wana check if they will fit on factory landcrusiser vx , being 34.6 inches dia . i know that 33 inches fit fine ,
