Newbie

Post by Jason_B »

I've just joined up and thought I'd say hi.

I recently bought at Suzuki SJ410 for use at work. I've had so much fun in it I thought I'd join here and find out more about 4wd'ing.

I'm based in Bay of Plenty, travelling between Whakatane and Rotorua. I'd be keen to meet other people to take truck out and learn how to use it off road properly. It has no reg / wof so its off road only.

Cheers

Wewlcome to the fold.

Zooks should carry a health warning as they are more addictive than smoking, although smoking doesnt rearrange you spine quite as well as a long trip in a leaf sprung zook.

I hope you have fun with your new toy, the best time is when you achieve something a "monster truck" (insert cruiser, etc here) couldnt do. Priceless.

There is no mechanical problem so difficult that it cannot be solved by brute strength and ignorance.

Thanks for the warm welcome :-)

I'm photographer. I mainly take photos of people quad / dirt bike riding. Customers seem to want to get real muddy so Suzuki was bought to carry a water pump around so I could try and keep mudholes wet and muddy for as long as possible during dry spells.

I've photographed 4wd's before but not really driven one until now. Having fun and am really surprised just what the suzuki is cabable of.

I'm looking forwards to meeting up with people who can show me how to drive it properly, and of course getting it in the mud! :-)
