hilux steering shaft to short

Does anyone out there know if toyota has a different length steering shafts to overcome a lack of spline in the yoke.
I am sure this has been discussed before but cant find any posts
swb lux with 7mge, trailgear crossover, trailgear rear lift kit, custom front bar, runva 1200lb winch, custom snorkel, 37" Mtrs, custom deck, lockright in the rear.

Steering shaft? As in from the steering wheel to the steering box?? if this is the case. yes, the 2wd ones are a bit longer. I have put one in my truck as I moved the steering box forward when I put it in.

cheers I knew there was a solution but just couldnt find it on here

When you do it, you may need to swap the rubber end over. You know the rubber type flexible coupling. I had to do it on mine. I can't recall why now though.

Steering shaft from a ln61 (IFS) is longer than a steering shaft from a ln 60 (beam) by about 50mm, if you do a body swap like I just have you need to swap the whole steering column as the IFS one is shorter :lol:
You can buy a 2wd steering shaft and shorten it down to the length required *NOTE* must be shortened properly for on-road certification.
