Remeber it will feel underpowered compared to a cherokee which is a light vehicle with 140kw. The 3.0paj has about 110kw and if you looked underneath the axles and diffs etc are massive compared to the Jeep.
The 3.5 V6 has 153kw and as such goes a bit better.
The c/d lock is the centre diff, being full time 4WD it also has a centre diff that needs to be locked. That is the HLoc and LLoc positions on the lever. The light will flash until it is actually locked (can take a second or two) or actually unlocked.
The rear diff lock is air operated, not electric. Switch activites air pump. The switch is the R/D lock switch in front of the gear lever and it operated another orange light on the dash between the two rear wheels green lights. It also flashes until it goes in.

SWB V6 Paj with one or two mods

Hi NJ
Switch activates air pump?
Where is the air pump? The vehicle that I am looking at apparently has wires going directly to the Diff
Thanks for the Info, it would appear that there is not much to do to a Pajero . So why are they not more common in clubs and in the 4WD mags? Havent seen many on the odd safaris that I have done also. Our club has none.
