Got a complete one but I'm not letting go of it. You'll have to make sure that you get the right PTO for your split transfercase and you'll have to check that you have the drive gear in your transfercase, some do and some just have a spacer on the shaft where the drive gear goes.
Might need to have a look at where your exhaust runs if its on the passenger side of the truck

if you take the PTO blanking plate off you'll be looking at the output shaft, the PTO drive gear is a square cut gear towards the rear of the shaft, if its not there the shaft will just have a spacer like a tube in its place to hold the other helical gears in place. My 70# dosent have one but I've got a spare 40# transfer case that has one in it.
It's not a major to split the transfercase to put the drive gear in :drunken:

had a look tonight can see what looks like pto drive gears on the shaft at the rear end of the t/c between these gears and next lot of gears theres small spacer maybe 50mm. these gears are intermeshing while the gears at the back of the t/c (pto drive gears?) do not seem to meet.
sorry about the flash terminology this is all pretty new to me.thanks for the pic i think thats what i was looking at. didnt have camera or would have taken pic.
