Re: surf or 70
prado wins hands down besides the rust. not leaf sprung its coils. starting again prado be my vehicle choice. absoloutly miles ahead of a surf. pity about the rust. pto winch option available. radius arm with solid axle. surf is crap in comparison. if you can deal with the rust ....
Re: surf or 70
My comment would be, if you are going to do a 130 surf, get a 4 door one before you spend lots on a 2 door....
SWB V6 Paj with one or two mods

Re: surf or 70

70 cruiser for sure.

Toyota Landcruiser FJ40, front and rear lockers, 35" simex.
Toyota FJ45 build in progress.
Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set.

I would go the 70 ...
But if you are going to give it the bash....
then the surf is a good choice as there are heaps of spares out there.....and cheap.....

But if you are going to give it the bash....

Intelligence is like a four-wheel drive. It allows you to get stuck in more remote places.

thats pretty much what I was thinking, all depends what you want to do with it and what you expect of it coz they will both handle very differently
